Celebrating Molbak’s Story

Growing a Woodinville Landmark

Location

Exhibit Type:

Current Exhibits

For generations, Molbak’s was more than a garden store. It was a Woodinville landmark — a place where families wandered through greenhouses, searched for the perfect plant, gathered ideas for their homes and gardens, and returned season after season as part of a local tradition.

This exhibit celebrates the story of Molbak’s and its lasting place in Woodinville’s community memory. Through photographs, artifacts, and shared stories, visitors can remember the sights, colors, and experiences that made Molbak’s feel special: rows of plants, holiday displays, expert advice, and the sense of possibility that came with bringing something home to grow.

Molbak’s helped shape Woodinville’s identity as a place rooted in the land, connected to nature, and built by people with vision, creativity, and care. Its story remains part of the larger story of Woodinville — one of growth, change, and community connection.
